Hi,
I have been working with a company ABC from April 2007 in India. In Oct 2007 I got my H1B visa stamped for a company XYZ of USA and is valid thru OCT 2010. I took a long vacation here in India and went to USA for the company XYZ and stayed there for 45 days. During the period of stay I got my SSN and also I got one payslip generated for two weeks. Becoz of the market slowdown I had to return back to India and joined the same company ABC in India. Now this company ABC wants to process B1 for me, So is there any problem if I have to apply for B1 and is there any problem in the Embassy about the 45 days I spent in US on H1B while I was employed in a company ABC from April 2007?
Please suggest me on this asap

Hello Members,
I noticed that the dates on my i-765, i-131 and i-485 changed to 9/1/2008 today. This has not changed since I got my EAD. None of my wife's dates have changed. Does this mean anything? The things I have done lately that might (or might not) have caused this:
- Called CSR to check on status. She asked me to call back as my processing dates are not current yet.
- my lawyer sent G-28 so they could check on any information for me.
Here is some info:
i-140: 9/26/2005
i-485: 7/23/2007
EB-2

there are two choices for - I140 Filing Type
- Regular
- Premium
What is the difference b/w two. Can EB3 candidate file for I140 Filing Type in Premium category.

my i-485 status online says- On December 3, 2007 we mailed the document to the address we have on file. You should receive the new document within 30 days.
my priority date is not current.

My wife is right now on H4 and having her EAD which will be expiring in another 2 months. She is not planning to work. Currently I am woking on H1B, soon I will be joing another employer on EAD. My question is it necessry for my wife to renew EAD even if she is not planning to use it. Once I swith on EAD what need to be done for my wife.

Don't know if it will help anybody since i'm a June filer. I didn't file EAD along with AOS in June, but on July 11th i filed EAD with 485 RN. My check got cashed on the 13th and got the receipt# from the back. The case status says they received the application on 12th. I haven't got the Receipt notice yet though. I did write I-765 on the package.

Hello everyone,
I had filed for my I485 on 19th July at Nebraska. My 90 days are getting over on 19th Oct. Still I have not received any receipts for I-485,EAD,I-131.
My lawyer is going to call USCIS to inquire about my case.
Does any one had experience calling USCIS after 90 days were over and the USCIS tracked your application and you got your receipts.
Would be great if any one can share there experiences.
